We acknowledge the First Peoples of the land where the Church is situated, the Turrbal and Jagera peoples. We acknowledge and lament that sovereignty was never ceded, nor reparations given, and the role of the Church in participating in the oppression of First Peoples. We celebrate the care and custodianship for Creation, and the profound Spirituality that has been practiced and experienced for millennia. We acknowledge elders past and present, and are striving to a future where reconciliation can be realised.
